Queen Divers Sharm (the “Dive Center”, “we”, “us”, “our”)
Last updated: February, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds work for services booked with Queen Divers Sharm through our website, WhatsApp, email, or in person.
If anything here is unclear, contact us before booking and we will confirm the rules for your specific activity.
1) What this policy covers
This policy applies to:
Diving activities (guided shore dives, house reef dives, check dives, private guide dives, night dives, dive packages)
Boat trips & excursions (day boats, guided boat dives, related excursions sold by us)
Diving courses (beginner experiences and certified training)
Equipment rental and add-ons booked with an activity or course
It does not apply to services provided entirely by third parties where you pay them directly (for example, a hotel, airline, or another operator). If we collect payment on your behalf, the third party’s terms may apply and will be shared with you.
2) Deposits and payments
Some bookings require a deposit to confirm your reservation, especially during high season or for private arrangements.
The exact deposit amount and payment schedule may vary depending on the activity, course, group size, and date.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of booking, deposits are applied toward the total price of your booking.
3) Customer cancellations and refunds
A) Daily diving activities and shore dives
If you cancel a daily diving activity (including house reef dives, guided shore dives, private guide dives, check dives, night dives):
More than 48 hours before the start time: Full refund (minus non-refundable processing fees, if any)
24 to 48 hours before the start time: 50% refund
Less than 24 hours before the start time or no-show: No refund
B) Boat trips & excursions
Boat days require advance scheduling and reserved capacity. If you cancel a boat trip or excursion:
More than 72 hours before the start time: Full refund (minus non-refundable processing fees, if any)
24 to 72 hours before the start time: 50% refund
Less than 24 hours before the start time or no-show: No refund
C) Diving courses and training programs
Courses involve instructor scheduling and often include training materials and certification-related fees.
If you cancel a diving course:
More than 7 days before the course start date: Full refund of amounts paid excluding non-refundable materials or registration costs (if any)
3 to 7 days before the course start date: 50% refund of amounts paid excluding non-refundable materials or registration costs (if any)
Less than 72 hours before the course start date or no-show: No refund
If you started the course and cannot complete it:
We may offer a credit or partial refund only for the unused portion, after deducting any completed sessions, instructor time, boat/transport costs already used, materials, and agency fees.
D) Multi-dive packages
For prepaid packages (for example, 10 dives):
If you cancel before starting, the relevant cancellation window above applies.
If you used part of the package, refunds (if any) are calculated as:
Amount paid minus (dives used at the standard per-dive rate + any non-refundable fees).
4) Rescheduling instead of refund
We understand plans change. When possible, we prefer to reschedule rather than cancel.
If you request a date change within the allowed cancellation window, we will usually move your booking without extra charge, subject to availability.
If you request a date change inside the late-cancellation window, a rescheduling fee may apply or the booking may be treated as a late cancellation.
5) Weather, sea conditions, and safety cancellations
Safety comes first. Plans may change due to weather, sea conditions, port authority restrictions, or other operational safety reasons.
If we cancel an activity for safety/operational reasons, you may choose one of the following:
Reschedule to another available date/time, or
Receive a full refund for the canceled portion (minus non-refundable processing fees, if any), or
Receive credit for future use (if you prefer)
If an activity starts and must be stopped early for safety reasons, we will handle it fairly based on what was delivered and the costs already incurred.
6) Medical and fitness-to-dive issues
Diving requires that you are medically fit to participate.
If you are unable to dive due to a medical reason, we may request supporting documentation.
Where possible, we will offer rescheduling or credit instead of a refund, especially if staff/boat capacity was already reserved.
If you fail to disclose a condition that prevents you from diving or you are denied participation due to missing required documentation, this may be treated as a late cancellation/no-show.
7) Non-refundable items and fees
The following are typically non-refundable:
Payment processing fees (card fees, gateway fees, bank transfer charges)
Agency learning materials and digital codes (for example, eLearning or registration codes) once issued or activated
Third-party costs already paid on your behalf (permits, transport commitments, external operator reservations)
If non-refundable fees apply to your booking, we will clarify them at the time of purchase.
8) Refund method and timing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible.
If the original method is not available, we may offer an alternative method or a credit.
Refund processing time depends on the payment provider. Typically, refunds appear within 5 to 14 business days, but some banks can take longer.
